Salvation

Ever since man was created, we have had a longing and a deep desire for something more than what is before us.  We have searched the stars and the sea, over the earth and deep within ourselves.  Still there is a void, an emptiness in our very being, within our heart.  We were made this way, to seek God.  How do we find God?

It took God Himself, to show us where to walk, and how to follow after Him. Romans 3:23 says this, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."  We can't find Him on our own.  There is a way though.  Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."  Romans 5:8 says, "But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Again in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."  So we see from these verses that God loves us, even though we sin, and that salvation is a gift, not something we can earn.  The next question is, how do we receive this gift?   Romans 10:9-10 states, "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

If you repeat this prayer, and say it to God, the best you can, He will give you salvation.  Say this prayer to God, and mean it with all your heart:

"Dear Lord Jesus,

I know I am a sinner, but I know you loved me enough that you died for me.   Please forgive me for my sins.   I ask now that you come into my heart, and change me, make me the person you want me to be.   Thank you for forgiving me, and thank you for saving me, In Christ name I pray.  Amen."

If you said this prayer, and meant it will all your heart, then you are forgiven.  Please contact us if you would like to share your decision.   We know a lot of great resources to help you get started in living your life the way God intended.

Thank you for reading this.  We hope, that if you don't already have a relationship with Christ, it might show you more clearly what salvation is.  It is not about Religion, it is about a Personal Relationship. We are not perfect, we are forgiven.

Thank you and God Bless.
