Turtles by Catesby & Trew

Between 1731 and 1743, Catesby published his "Natural History of Carolina, Florida, and the Bahama Islands," which was the first published account of the flora and fauna of North America. In approximately 1770, George Knorr published his work, which included numerous illustrations by Christian Trew. I have assembled this collection of turtles to create an impressive series. The background paper color is designed to match the Catesby series. Our Giclée reproduction series of the top images from this set are the finest available on the market. They are printed on Somerset Velvet acid-free cotton rag paper using archival inks with a light fastness of over 140 years. Printed at 1440 dots per square inch, our printing process is invisible to the naked eye.

Each print is sized at 12 inches by 17 inches.
