TheseCFA Edition giclée reproductions are faithful reproductions of plates from A Monograph of the Felidae, one of the most important zoological publications of the 19th century. Originally issued in London by subscription, this monumental work was devoted entirely to the family of cats and is celebrated for its exceptional scientific accuracy and artistic quality.

The original plates were produced as large-format, hand-colored lithographs, depicting both large and small feline species with remarkable attention to anatomy, posture, and natural behavior. 

Each CFA Edition giclée is printed on acid-free cotton rag paper using archival inks with a lightfastness rating of up to 200 years, ensuring long-term color stability and preservation. Our reproductions are carefully color-matched to the original plates and offered in standard sizes designed to fit readily available frames, allowing for cohesive display across the series.
